SFIA For Individuals
Individuals are making use of SFIA to map their current skills and experience, identify their goals, and plan their professional development journey.
Our assessment tools (SFIA v6) help enable individuals to identify the level of responsibility and accountability in the current or most recent role held and identify skills they feel they offer, and to assess their level of capability in those personal skills.
This information can then be used to map higher-education courses, qualifications, professional memberships, and training courses that help them (and their managers), to choose the right actions and activities to support the development they need.
Because SFIA is being utilised more and more often to define Job/Position Descriptions and in advertising vacancies, it also helps individuals to identify opportunities which match their skills and experience.
